About the Team

The Growth Marketing team is part of the overarching Marketing function and plays a significant role in Miro’s rapidly scaling growth and achieving our business goals.

The team comprises the Paid Marketing, Organic Growth, Digital Properties, and Lifecycle Marketing teams, and most of the team members are located in our Amsterdam hub. All the teams within Growth Marketing are empowered teams comprised of marketers and embedded supporting functions like Marketing Analytics, Engineering, Copy, and Design. The teams work closely with many other teams in the Marketing function and across the organization to achieve our business goals and drive consistent growth.

About the Role

Miro is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Head of Growth and Digital Marketing to develop and execute innovative growth strategies across various channels and drive user acquisition and retention, fueling our global expansion.

In this high-impact role, you'll report directly to the Chief Marketing Officer and lead multiple cross-functional teams to optimize the entire customer journey, from awareness to conversion and long-term loyalty. You’ll partner closely with all other marketing teams (Product Marketing, Brand, Community, and Revenue Marketing) and various teams across the organization to deliver your teams’ strategy and to support others.

You will be part of Miro’s and Marketing's leadership teams, and you will be positioned to influence and contribute not only to our business goals but also to our ways of working and culture and help shape Miro’s future.

Finally, you'll build, mentor, and lead multiple high-performing teams and marketers and help them to grow professionally and personally, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented approach.

What you’ll do

  • Drive User Acquisition & Growth: Develop and execute innovative strategies to acquire millions of new users across various channels, including performance marketing, web, lifecycle marketing, affiliates, and referrals.
  • Optimize the Marketing Funnel: Lead cross-functional teams to optimize the entire customer journey, from initial awareness to conversion and long-term retention using our digital properties and lifecycle channels.
  • Build a Data-Driven Growth Engine: Leverage data and insights to identify new opportunities, measure campaign performance, and continuously refine marketing strategies for maximum impact.
  • Manage Marketing Budget and Resources: Oversee a significant marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation and maximizing ROI across all channels.
  • Scale Growth Across Segments: Develop and implement effective growth strategies for Product-Led Growth (PLG) and Enterprise segments, balancing scalable self-serve acquisition with targeted enterprise pipeline development.
  • Build and Leading High-Performing Teams: Build, mentor, and lead high-performing teams across performance marketing, organic growth, web, and lifecycle marketing.

What you’ll need

  • 14+ years of experience in digital marketing supporting B2B PLG and sales-assisted businesses, with at least 6 years managing teams of 10+ members.
  • Proven track record of leading and scaling growth initiatives and repeatable marketing processes for SaaS or tech companies.
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing and scaling a portfolio of marketing channels, including Website and digital properties, Email, Organic, Paid Search, Paid Media, and others.
  • Familiarity with advanced marketing tools, systems, and knowledge of advanced marketing analytics.
  • The ability to take initiative and drive projects forward independently, thriving in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills to effectively collaborate and engage with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
  • Extreme accountability and initiative to ensure business outcomes are achieved using creative and innovative approaches.
