Overview:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Finance Senior Executive to oversee accounts payable and treasury functions. The role will be critical in ensuring the smooth and efficient management of cash flow, vendor payments, and financial transactions while optimizing the company's liquidity. The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of experience, be a B.Com graduate/ MBA/ a semi-qualified Chartered Accountant (CA), with hands-on experience in accounts payable, cash management, and financial operations.

Responsibilities:

Accounts Payable Management:

• Manage the accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate payment of vendor invoices.
• Review and verify payment requests, ensuring compliance with company policies and financial controls.
• Monitor aging payables and follow up with vendors for pending invoices to maintain strong relationships.
• Ensure proper documentation and approval processes for all payments. o Reconcile accounts payable ledgers to ensure accuracy in financial records.

Treasury & Cash Management:

• Oversee cash flow management, ensuring adequate liquidity to meet the company’s operational needs.
• Monitor and manage daily bank transactions, including bank balances, payments, and transfers.
• Develop cash forecasting models to ensure the company has sufficient cash on hand for operational and strategic needs.
• Manage bank accounts, including bank account openings, closures, and relationship management.
• Work closely with senior management to optimize cash reserves and determine funding requirements.

Vendor Relationship & Payment Terms Management:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key vendors and financial institutions to ensure favorable payment terms and smooth transaction processes.
• Negotiate and optimize payment terms with vendors, ensuring the company’s cash flow is effectively managed.
• Support the procurement team in resolving payment-related issues and discrepancies with vendors.

Internal Controls & Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and controls related to accounts payable and treasury functions.
• Implement and monitor processes to prevent fraud and unauthorized payments within accounts payable and treasury.

Financial Reporting & Analysis:

• Assist in the preparation of monthly cash flow statements, highlighting key cash inflows and outflows.
• Provide insights into accounts payable trends, cash management activities, and payment performance.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities related to accounts payable and treasury functions.
• Process Improvement & Efficiency: o Continuously evaluate and recommend improvements to accounts payable and treasury processes to enhance operational efficiency.
• Implement automation and digital tools where applicable to streamline payment processes and cash management.

Skills & Qualifications:

• B.Com graduate, MBA, or semi-qualified CA with 5-7 years of experience in accounts payable, treasury management, or financial operations.
• Strong understanding of financial operations, cash flow management, and vendor payment processes.
• Hands-on experience in managing bank accounts, cash forecasting, and financial transactions.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams and with external partners.
