Reporting directly to the Head of Product Partnerships, you will work closely with cross-functional teams—including research science, engineering, product, business development, and analytics—to inform product development and optimize performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with the client teams to drive strategic initiatives and establish “learning agendas” that help clients improve business outcomes through better measurement techniques.

  • Advise internal and external stakeholders on measurement strategy, working with clients on an ongoing basis to adopt robust measurement practices that enhance advertising effectiveness.

  • Work with client teams to design tests and analyze complex data sets to evaluate the effectiveness of advertising, from both direct response and brand perspectives.

  • Conduct in-depth custom analysis and ad effectiveness studies to understand the relative impact of various marketing strategies, providing actionable insights for business impact.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, R&D, Engineering, Creative, and Marketing) to identify opportunities for new features, products, and partnerships.

  • Translate complex research results into clear, actionable insights for a general audience.

  • Develop white papers, thought leadership pieces, and educational materials on effective measurement strategies, direct response, and performance marketing.

  • Educate clients, agencies, and industry stakeholders on AppLovin’s advertising, measurement, and research capabilities.

  • Manage a complex set of client relationships across various industries, functions, and agencies to ensure alignment on measurement objectives and drive successful outcomes.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required in a quantitative discipline (e.g., statistics, economics, behavioral or social science). An advanced degree is a plus.

  • Significant experience in data analysis in an online environment, with direct exposure to scoping and executing analytical projects end-to-end.

  • Hands-on experience with analyzing and manipulating large data sets using statistical software and tools such as R, MATLAB, SPSS, SAS, STATA, Hive, and SQL.

  • In-depth understanding of industry measurement tools and methodologies (e.g., attribution models, geolift) and the digital advertising landscape.

  • Proven ability to communicate technical content effectively to a general audience.

  • Demonstrated experience in client-facing roles, driving change through the adoption of innovative products or research methods.

  • Direct response/performance marketing experience, with a strong grasp of the evolving online advertising ecosystem.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the eCommerce vertical is preferred.

  • Demonstrated ability to apply machine learning techniques to marketing measurement challenges.

  • Passion for AppLovin and online advertising.

  • Intellectually curious, a fast learner who thrives in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a focus on high-impact projects.
