Summary
We are looking for software engineers with a QE focus who can work in a fast paced environment that is at the cutting edge of WAN edge & Cloud networking. You will fit into this role if you have an eye for delivering high quality, high performance & scalable software driven by automation. The ability to take a customer centric, big picture approach to QE will be an added advantage.
In this role you will find yourself working at all levels of the QE process starting from crafting feature specific test cases to customer centric system level tests.
Job Responsibilities
- Understand the product/feature requirement, review the design and write test plans that suits the customer use cases
- Responsible to own a feature end to end - starting from testing, automation, script error free run in regression and customer issues handling around that
- Thorough understanding of the product features and building the ability to debug the customer issues and suggest/implement the workarounds if applicable
- Need to perform different types of testing that includes functional, system, performance and scale tests
- Need to create the distributed complex test setups in various cloud platforms and hypervisors based on the requirement
- Work closely with cross functional teams at various stages of product development to meet the feature deliverables in a release
- Develop Automation scripts and maintain comprehensive documentation
- Be an effective code reviewer for automation and product code
Preferred Qualifications
- B.E /B.Tech /M.Tech degree from a recognised and accredited university/college.
- Minimum 4 years of experience and should have the mix of product testing and automation expertise.
Preferred Technical Skills
- Strong expertise in front-end web UI automation tools like selenium, cypress, playwright
- Strong Experience testing large scale platforms, APIs and backend services. (REST , Graphql)
- Hands-on experience with Javascript/Typescript-based automation frameworks or similar frameworks ( like Mocha, pytest , unittest, or similar)
- Experience validating data pipelines, data ingestion, enrichment, and classification workflows
- Strong understanding of REST APIs, JSON, authentication mechanisms, and schema validation
- Design and deliver effective and automatable test plans.
- Experience testing distributed systems and microservices in cloud environments (AWS/GCP/Azure)
- Ability to design automation for data accuracy, completeness, consistency, and regression
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests into release workflows
- Strong experience in writing the automation test using Javascript/Typescript/python
- Basic understanding of L2/L3 networking concepts, routing protocols, VPN, IPSec and WAN architecture
- System/server side experience for troubleshooting and strong knowledge of Linux.
Desired Technical Skills
- Experience in designing test framework
- Hands on experience on AI agent prompting and usage
- Familiarity in python programming language
- Good to have exposure to performance and scalability testing .
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes environments
