Roles and Responsibilities
Warehouse Operations Management
● Own end-to-end warehouse operations across all India facilities including inbound,
storage, inventory management, picking, packing, dispatch, returns, and stock
reconciliation.
● Drive operational efficiency, order fulfillment SLAs, inventory accuracy, and cost
optimization across company-operated and partner-operated warehouses.
● Ensure seamless coordination between supply chain, planning, customer experience,
finance, and logistics teams.
Team Leadership & People Management
● Build, lead, and mentor warehouse operations teams across locations.
● Drive accountability, performance management, capability building, and leadership
development within operations teams.
● Foster a high-performance, process-oriented operational culture.
Partner & Vendor Management
● Manage relationships and operational governance with 3PL / partner-operated
warehouses.
● Establish clear KPIs, review mechanisms, escalation processes, and operational audits
for partner facilities.
● Ensure standardized processes and consistent customer experience across all
warehouses.
Process Excellence & Program Management
● Identify operational bottlenecks and drive process improvement initiatives to enhance
productivity, turnaround times, and accuracy.
● Lead cross-functional operational programs and warehouse expansion/readiness
initiatives.
● Standardize SOPs and implement scalable warehouse processes and controls.
Data Analytics & Performance Management
● Track and analyze key operational metrics including fill rate, inventory accuracy,
productivity, dispatch TAT, returns processing, shrinkage, and warehouse costs.
● Build dashboards, reporting mechanisms, and review cadences for performance
monitoring.
● Use data-driven insights to drive decision-making and continuous improvement.
Systems & Compliance
● Ensure adherence to operational controls, safety standards, and compliance
requirements.
● Work closely with technology teams on WMS improvements, automation opportunities,
and operational digitization.
Qualification
5+ years of experience in warehouse operations, fulfillment, or supply chain operations.
● Proven experience managing multi-location warehouse operations at scale.
● Strong people leadership and team management capabilities.
● Prior experience managing both captive and partner-operated / 3PL warehouses
preferred.
● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high comfort working with operational
data and metrics.
● Demonstrated experience in program management and process improvement initiatives.
● Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with strong ownership and
execution focus.
● Experience in D2C, e-commerce, retail, FMCG, or consumer brands preferred.
