The Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Manufacturing Quality Inspector to ensure our robotic assemblies are built to the highest standards of quality, precision, and reliability. In this role, you will perform in-process and final inspections on mechanical and electromechanical assemblies, verifying conformance to engineering drawings, specifications, and workmanship standards. You will play a critical part in maintaining product integrity by identifying nonconformances, supporting root cause investigations, and collaborating closely with production and engineering teams.

The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, experience inspecting complex assemblies, and a commitment to continuous improvement. Your work will directly impact the performance, safety, and long-term reliability of advanced robotic systems.

Responsibilities

  • Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections of robotic assemblies to ensure product is built to the highest quality standards
  • Verify dimensions of raw materials & finished goods using precision measuring tools (Calipers, micrometers, height gauges, indicators, etc.)
  • Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and specifications
  • Identify and document any discrepancies in and communicate with relevant internal & external teams.
  • Maintain accurate records of measurement data, inspection reports, and quality control documentation.
  • Troubleshooting and root cause analysis of manufacturing quality issues
  • Implementing quality control solutions within manufacturing production lines

Qualifications

  • Education: High School Diploma plus 3+ years of experience; additional certifications in Quality Control preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of GD&T principles and ability to apply them in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to identify and document deficiencies.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally
