Job Description:

Business Development Manager – Global Accounts (France)

This role has been designed as a senior, strategic sales position, responsible for driving growth across large, global accounts for HPE Networking in a cross‑vertical context for France. Based in Paris-region, the role combines development of existing strategic customers with targeted new logo acquisition within complex, international environments.

About the role

The Business Development Manager works closely with Global Account Managers, the country managers and regional sales teams to identify, shape, and close complex, high‑value opportunities. Acting as a senior sales specialist, the role brings deep commercial and solution expertise to long‑cycle pursuits, engaging executive stakeholders and navigating multi‑country decision‑making processes.

What you’ll do

  • Be responsible to grow strategic selling and growth on the global accounts within HPE Networking for France.
  • Drive revenue growth across installed global accounts through expansion, upsell, and cross‑sell initiatives
  • Identify and develop new logo opportunities aligned to strategic target accounts
  • Lead complex, cross‑vertical sales pursuits from opportunity identification through to close
  • Establish and maintain trusted relationships with senior and C‑level stakeholders
  • Partner with Account Managers on account strategy, pursuit planning, and value positioning
  • Adapt solution messaging across multiple industries and customer environments
  • Coordinate internal specialists and external partners across regions
  • Maintain disciplined account planning, forecasting, and pipeline governance

What you bring

  • Significant experience (typically 8+ years) in enterprise or strategic sales, ideally within technology, software, or services
  • Proven success growing existing strategic accounts while developing new business
  • Experience selling complex, high‑value solutions into large, multinational organizations
  • Strong executive presence and ability to manage long, consultative sales cycles
  • Structured, commercially focused approach with high levels of autonomy
  • Netherlands/Belgium‑based, with willingness to travel as required
