Over 5,000 companies are using our cloud based application with more than $1.7 Billion dollars in annual transactions.We are looking for a System Admin/Data Center Manager to join our team in the Silicon Valley.RESPONSIBILITIES: Manage the day to day operations of our production systems; Enable cross functional development between multiple internal teams and provide high-level service and support; Design, install, architect, configure, monitor and optimize hybrid cloud environments (AWS and co-lo data center); Establish strategies to identify and improve information security implementations; Proactively identify processes to automate and develop tools to improve stability and performance; Establish documentation so processes are reproducible; Implement and use the latest data-center tools and processes; Participate in on-call support for our production system.REQUIRED SKILLS: CS/IS/Engineering or related credentials with minimum 5 years experience; Strong technical capabilities and people skills; Working knowledge of AWS (EC2, S3, VPC, etc.); In-depth Linux (CentOS/RedHat) knowledge; Strong TCP/IP networking knowledge (routing, DNS, VLANs, firewalls, load balancing); Expert troubleshooting tools (tcpdump, netstat, iostat, traceroute, strace); Experience implementing SSL Certificates (including SANS) in an Apache stack; Server virtualization experience (VMware, KVM, Xen or similar); Monitoring tools experience (BMC or Nagios); Excellent scripting/automation (python, ruby and/or BASH/TCSH); Experience managing NFS storage (NetApp preferred); Experience supporting Oracle, MySQL or other databases; On-call experience in a 24×7 production environment; US work authorization required.
