Our customers include many Fortune 500 companies and over 5,000 companies use our cloud based application.We are looking for a System Admin/Data Center Manager to join our team in the Silicon Valley.RESPONSIBILITIES: Manage the day to day operations of our production systems; Enable cross functional development and provide a high level of service and support; Design, install, architect, configure, monitor and optimize hybrid cloud environments (AWS and co-lo); Establish strategies to identify and improve information security; Proactively identify processes to automate and develop tools for stability and performance; Establish documentation so processes are reproducible; Implement and use the latest data-center tools and processes; Participate in on-call support.REQUIRED SKILLS: Degree/credentials in IT infrastructure services or related field with minimum 5 years experience; Strong technical and people skills; Working knowledge of AWS (EC2, S3, VPC); In-depth Linux (CentOS/RedHat) knowledge; Strong TCP/IP networking knowledge; Expert with troubleshooting tools; SSL Certificates experience in an Apache stack; Server virtualization experience; Monitoring tools experience (BMC or Nagios); Scripting/automation (python, ruby and/or BASH/TCSH); Experience managing NFS storage (NetApp preferred); Experience supporting Oracle, MySQL, or other databases; On-call experience in a 24×7 production environment; US work authorization required.
