🤔 What can I expect from this role?

As a Sourcing & Procurement associate, you will be directly involved at sourcing, procurement (domestic and international), supply chain planning, manufacturing, logistics operations which required to scale up the product as well as directly work with existing and new vendors.

Your activities will help in laying out building a very strong supply chain by having a seat in the cockpit of production as we scale up faster.

What will my work responsibilities look like if I join Posha?

You would work on:

• Identifying and purchasing from multiple vendors domestically and internationally who are tied to the product via manufacturing, logistics and other channels.
• Placing purchase orders along with immense follow-up for the results / deliverables across vendors from different time zones.
• Implementing production planning on a ground-level by managing stock inventory levels of 300+ BOM parts from multiple sourcing channels
• Supplier quality compliance and conduct supplier audits as and when required along with handling paperwork & documentation required for regulations, compliance etc.,
• Tracking & routing shipments by setting-up and managing logistics across multiple countries.
• Cost analysis and budgeting for upcoming production activities in addition to implementing cost saving techniques and driving the activities.
• Resolving issues from an electro-mechanical lens by working close with the R&D and manufacturing teams to align sourcing with design requirements
• Analysing the hardware space and implement efficient methods to transform the organisation from an early stage hardware start-up to a high growth consumer brand.

What makes you a match for us? 😍

• 0-2 year of experience in sourcing, procurement, or manufacturing
• Bachelor Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / or similar engineering domain
• Strong technical knowledge in electrical/electronics/mechanical domains
• Excellent communication & analytical skills
• Detail-oriented with experience in documentation & paperwork
• Strong negotiation & vendor management skills
• Proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams (R&D, manufacturing, logistics)
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically in fast-paced environments
• Basic understanding of supply chain, BOMs (Bill of Materials), and cost structures
• A proactive learner who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment
