Job Description

We are looking for a dynamic and strategic Sports Partnerships Manager, EMEA to join our team. In this role, you will specialise in driving sports partnerships revenue within the dynamic EMEA region. You will foster and manage key partner relationships to drive revenue growth and enhance our market presence.

As a crucial member of our Partnerships team, you have a genuine opportunity to accelerate growth and make a significant impact. You will be at the forefront as we continue to build out our partnerships value proposition within the region and globally. An ideal candidate for this role is a proactive, results-oriented individual with excellent communication skills, strong project management abilities, and a passion for building and nurturing long-lasting relationships.

What you’ll do

  • Manage and nurture relationships with existing partnerships key accounts, unlocking and optimizing performance of the relationships that have been built via sales channels to sports sponsorship partners.
  • Collaborate with Partnership team members and cross-functional teams, including marketing & sales, to tailor commercial solutions that meet the mutual goals of OFX and our partners.
  • Support the negotiation and finalisation of deals, ensuring a smooth hand-over with a clear and timely activation plan.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for onboarded partners, addressing their enquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Work with partners and internal stakeholders to maximise OFX hosted events, designed to deliver maximum exposure to partner networks and audience.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues and ensure seamless service delivery, ensuring partner satisfaction and retention through first class interactions.
  • Design, own and present regular update reports to senior management on performance metrics and client feedback.
  • Broadcast our successes using social platforms to inspire, curate and attract our next wave of partners.

Qualifications

What you’ll bring

  • 5+ years of experience in B2B business development, sports partnerships, and key account management
  • Strong understanding of UK/EU markets and how global payments add value to our future and existing partners.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly disciplined project management skills to influence, manage and coach partnerships toward success.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving and exceeding company, regional, team and personal targets.
  • Analytical skills to spot market trends and identify business opportunities.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or sports management, or a related field or certifications in sales or digital marketing are a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively within and across internal and external teams.
  • Proven strong digital skills including CRM databases as well as with social media platforms.
  • Highly motivated, self-starter, polished, and positive demeanour.
  • Ability to travel to team meetings or events (no more than 20% of the time)
  • Fluent in English, plus a second EU language would be an advantage.
