Digital Affiliate Marketing Manager
Ofx
Job Description

With an innovative platform and 24/7 human support, OFX automates and simplifies doing business across borders, reducing risk and eliminating routine operational tasks. Offering global business accounts, payments to 180 countries in 30+ currencies and currency risk management solutions to simplify global payments. OFX further enhances business operations by providing corporate cards with spend management, bill payments, vendor management, and integrations with popular accounting and HRIS software, to help achieve better business solutions so accounting firms and businesses thrive.
Headquartered in Sydney, Australia, with offices globally, in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, New Zealand, Singapore and Hong Kong. OFX has been a trusted innovator in global money movement for over 25 years.
Purpose of your role
OFX is seeking a commercially minded, performance-driven Digital Affiliate Marketing Manager to own and scale our global affiliate channel. In this role you will drive profitable growth by recruiting, optimising and expanding affiliate partnerships across comparison platforms, review sites and digital publishers. You will evaluate and optimise current affiliate relationships, renegotiate commercial structures where necessary, and ensure all partner activity aligns with OFX’s unit economics, profitability expectations and new/existing business targets.
A core focus of this role is shifting the channel toward Cost-Per-Acquisition (CPA) models that align partner incentives with OFX’s growth objectives, and not just relying on upfront, Cost-Per-Lead (CPL) and impression-based costs wherever commercially viable. This is a high-accountability role that requires strong commercial judgment, analytical rigour and disciplined execution. The right person will also be alive to the structural shifts affecting the affiliate channel, particularly the rise of AI-powered comparison and discovery tools, and will proactively develop strategies to protect and grow OFX’s presence in this evolving landscape.
What you do
Strategic Growth & Optimisation
- Deeply understand OFX’s current affiliate book of business, partner performance and revenue contribution
- Identify opportunities to optimise partner mix, placement strategy, conversion quality and unit economics
- Evaluate and renegotiate commercial agreements to align with CPA-preferred profitability structures
- Develop and champion CPA migration strategies for existing CPL, CPC and upfront-fee partners, building the commercial case for why performance-aligned models benefit both parties
- Monitor how AI-powered comparison tools (e.g. AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity) are affecting referral traffic from traditional affiliate partners and develop a proactive response strategy
Partnership Acquisition & Expansion
- Recruit new high-quality affiliate partners including comparison sites, review sites and performance-driven digital media partners
- Build compelling value propositions tailored to affiliate and publisher segments
- Expand global reach through targeted regional partnerships (NA, EMEA, APAC)
- Identify and test emerging partner types positioned for AI-first discovery, including structured data providers, AI content integrations and API-based comparison services
Commercial Structuring & Pricing Innovation
- Structure, negotiate and manage commercial models including CPA, rev share, CPL, CPC and hybrid frameworks, with a clear strategic preference for CPA
- Ensure all affiliate activity aligns with OFX CAC, LTV, contribution margin and broader unit economics
- Design and pilot innovative incentive structures to attract and retain high-quality affiliates, including tiered commissions, performance accelerators, exclusivity bonuses and bespoke hybrid deals
- Conduct competitive analysis of affiliate commercial models in the FX space to ensure OFX’s offer is compelling and market-relevant
Asset Management & Partner Enablement
- Own the end-to-end process for delivering marketing assets to affiliate partners, including banners, landing page links, tracking URLs, co-branded content and product messaging
- Define and manage a centralised asset repository (e.g. partner portal or DAM system) ensuring partners always have access to current, brand-compliant creative
- Establish and maintain a regular asset refresh cadence aligned to OFX campaigns, rate changes and seasonal activity, in partnership with the Marketing team
- Lead partner onboarding, including technical integration, brand and compliance briefing, and product education, to ensure new affiliates launch effectively and perform quickly
- Define clear ownership of marketing asset governance: who approves, who refreshes, and how brand and compliance standards are enforced across all partner-facing materials
Tracking, Attribution & Governance
- Oversee affiliate program operations on platforms such as Impact (or similar), ensuring accurate tracking and governance
- Design and implement tracking architecture that goes beyond basic Partner IDs, including sub-ID and creative-level tracking, click-path analysis and placement-specific performance signals to justify and optimise spend
- Own OFX’s affiliate attribution model and governance framework: define the rules for credit allocation across multi-touch journeys, manage disputes and ensure consistent application across regions and partners
- Partner with Data and Finance to deliver dashboards, reporting and insights on revenue, performance, conversion cohorts and profitability
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Marketing Interface
- Define the operating model between this role and the Marketing team: clarify which marketing activities this role leads (e.g. partner briefs, landing page inputs, offer structures) versus which are led by Marketing (e.g. creative production, campaign execution)
- Partner with Marketing on campaign design, testing frameworks and performance optimisation for affiliate placements
- Collaborate with Finance on business case development, commercial modelling and unit economics reporting
Qualifications
What you bring

- Track record of migrating affiliate partners from upfront or impression-based commercial structures to CPA or hybrid performance models
- Experience building or managing partner portals, asset delivery processes or similar affiliate enablement infrastructure
Commercial & Analytical Skills
- Deep understanding of rev-share, CPA, CPL, CPC and hybrid commercial structures; ability to evaluate and negotiate terms aligned to CAC/LTV and unit economics

- Strong ability to analyse partner performance, conversion quality, attribution, profitability and incremental lift
- Experience designing or overseeing attribution governance frameworks, including multi-touch models and dispute resolution
