Role overview

We are looking for an experienced ecommerce professional to own end-to-end marketplace and ecommerce operations for Onsitego and QCare. The role combines marketplace business development (Amazon, Flipkart, quick-commerce partners), seller & channel management, digital merchandising & paid acquisition, and operational ownership of customer support and telesales teams that service marketplace buyers and D2C customers. This is a hands-on role based at our Mumbai head office and requires a self-motivated leader who can work independently and within cross-functional teams.


Key responsibilities

  • Own P&L and growth for marketplace channels (Onsitego & QCare) — strategy, execution and performance tracking across Amazon, Flipkart, and quick-commerce platforms.
  • Build and execute marketplace GTM: assortment strategy, listing creation & A+ content, storefront/brand store management, promotional calendar, and paid search/ads (Sponsored Products, display).
  • Expand quick-commerce and hyperlocal partnerships (onboarding, assortment & pricing strategy, and SLAs).
  • Manage seller/channel relationships including seller performance, SLAs, Buy Box across portals.
  • Monitor marketplace analytics — conversion, sell-through, ACoS, ROAS, returns rate, Buy Box share — and run weekly/monthly performance reviews.
  • Lead and manage the Customer Support team handling marketplace (Amazon/Flipkart) buyer queries, refunds and claims; set KPIs (TAT, CSAT) and ensure SLAs.
  • Lead and manage the Telesales team responsible for D2C plan sales (website leads), renewals (AMC/renewals) and upsell campaigns; set targets and improve conversion/renewal metrics.
  • Work closely with Marketing, Leadership, and Operations for new plan launches, promotions, and pricing.
  • Prepare marketplace business plans, budgets and monthly performance reports for senior leadership.


Required qualifications & skills

  • 8-10 years of experience in ecommerce marketplace management, marketplace business development or similar roles.
  • Strong experience running Amazon Seller/Vendor Central and Flipkart seller operations (catalog, content, operations & ads).
  • Proven track record of managing marketplace P&L, promotional calendars and seller/channel relationships.
  • Experience in managing team would be a plus (people management, target setting).
  • Excellent analytical skills — comfortable with data, dashboards and using insights to drive decisions (Excel / Google Sheets).
  • Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Self-motivated, process oriented, able to work independently and lead a small team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.


Preferred / desirable

  • Insurance industry background (experience with insurance / warranty products / services) — advantage.
  • Prior experience working directly with Amazon, Flipkart or quick-commerce platforms — advantage.
  • Experience scaling quick-commerce or hyperlocal partnerships (Blinkit/Zepto/Instamart etc.) — advantage.
  • MBA or similar postgraduate qualification.
