Job Purpose:
Objective – to act as Business Controller for one of the Line of Business
Business Finance Executive/assistant manager is responsible for independently managing
invoicing, accounts receivable, credit control, MIS reporting, employee claims, and warehouse
inventory coordination. The role requires strong cross-functional communication with OEM
partners, internal finance teams, and warehouse operations.
Responsibilities:
A. Claim Validation & Invoicing ( 40%)
Independently manage Brand & Authorized Service partner ( ASPs) claim invoicing based on
commercial terms:
∙Process in-warranty invoicing to Brand with complete documentation.
∙Process Out of warranty Invoicing to ASPs
∙Handle MG, Warehouse, Logistics & Ad-hoc billing.
∙Execute ZipCare (Plan + Service) billing with data validation.
∙Maintain billing trackers and ensure timely invoice submissions.
∙Claim validation for ASP payout & Coordination with Internal Team & External team for
collection & Processing of ASP claim Invoicing.
B. Credit Control & Accounts Receivable (15%)
∙Monitor ASP credit limits and highlight risk exposures.
∙Manage AR collections, follow-up on overdue invoices & discrepancies for Brand & ASP
∙Maintain AR ageing reports and ledger accuracy.
C. Reconciliations & Balance Confirmations (5%)
∙Conduct balance confirmations with OEMs, Authorized Service Partners
∙Travel to client office as required to verify accounts, resolve disputes, and ensure
alignment on receivables.
∙Resolve mismatches on claims, credit notes & disputed items.
∙Maintain reconciliation logs and ensure closure of open items.
D. MIS & Reporting & Month end Activity ( 10%)
∙Prepare MIS for billing, AR, claims, inventory & audit status.
∙Create dashboards for management reviews.
∙Provide insights on variances and operational gaps.
∙Support month-end closing to finance team: revenue postings, accrual creation,
reconciliations.
∙Prepare provision schedules and ensure timely submission.
E. Inventory & Warehouse Coordination & Audit ( 30%)
∙Travel to warehouse locations for 4–5 days monthly / regularly as per requirement.
∙Conduct physical stock checks and system vs physical reconciliations.
∙Review stock movement, dispatches & receipts.
∙Highlight variances and ensure SOP adherence.
∙Participate in warehouse Physical Verification (PV).
∙Prepare supporting documents, schedules & audit responses.
∙Maintain audit-ready documentation and implement corrective actions.
Desired candidate profile:
Experience: Finance Operations, AR, Billing, Inventory Finance; exposure to warehouse coordination/PV preferred.
Technical Skills: Proficient in Excel, Commercial Understanding, ERP system - Tally, MIS reporting, and reconciliations.
Functional Abilities: Independently manage invoicing, AR follow-ups, inventory checks, month-end closing, and audit support.
Personal Attributes: Detail-oriented, process-driven, accountable, strong communicator, able to work independently.
Other Requirements: Willing to travel 4–5 days/month or as per the requirement to warehouses; adaptable to fast-paced operations. Client visit.
Experience: 5+ years
Qualification: Graduate / Master’s Degree/
CA Inter-Semi Qualified
