Job Title: Mobile Technician / Mobile Service Engineer
Job Summary
The Mobile Technician is responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining smartphones, tablets, and other mobile devices. The role involves ensuring timely service delivery, maintaining high-quality repair standards, and providing excellent customer support while adhering to company SOPs and service guidelines.
We require technicians from the following companies/ authorised service centre of :
- Oppo
- Vivo
- Xiomi
- Realme
- Cashify
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose hardware and software issues in mobile devices.
- Perform repairs and replacement of components such as displays, batteries, charging ports, cameras, speakers, microphones, and motherboards.
- Install, update, and troubleshoot mobile operating systems and software applications.
- Conduct quality checks and testing after repairs to ensure devices meet service standards.
- Accurately document repair activities, parts usage, and service reports in the system.
- Maintain inventory of spare parts and tools, ensuring proper stock management.
- Follow company service procedures, safety standards, and warranty guidelines.
- Coordinate with customers regarding repair status, timelines, and technical queries.
- Escalate complex technical issues to higher-level technical support when required.
- Ensure adherence to productivity, turnaround time (TAT), and customer satisfaction targets.
- Keep up to date with new mobile technologies, repair techniques, and product launches.
Required Skills & Competencies
- 3 + years of mobile repairing / servicing experience.
- Strong understanding of smartphone hardware and software.
- Knowledge of Android and iOS operating systems.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Good troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and quality orientation.
- Customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with service management systems.
