Role Summary:


The Associate HR Business Partner (Associate HRBP) supports the alignment of people strategy with business objectives for assigned teams or functions. This role partners with managers and employees to deliver both strategic and day-to-day HR support across areas such as employee relations, performance management, workforce planning, onboarding, reporting, and policy interpretation.


The Associate HRBP works closely with senior HRBPs and business leaders to improve employee experience, organizational effectiveness, and business performance.


Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with managers and employees to provide HR guidance on workforce issues, team effectiveness, and people practices.

  • Support employee relations matters, including workplace concerns, investigations, documentation, and resolution of issues in a fair and compliant manner.

  • Provide performance management support such as coaching managers, advising on feedback conversations, performance improvement processes, and disciplinary actions.

  • Assist with talent management activities including succession planning, talent reviews, career development, and learning needs identification.

  • Support workforce planning and organizational changes, including restructuring, role changes, transfers, and headcount planning.

  • Interpret and communicate HR policies, procedures, and employment practices to managers and employees.

  • Analyze HR data and trends to identify insights and recommend actions that support business priorities.

  • Coordinate onboarding and offboarding activities to ensure a smooth employee experience and compliance with internal processes.

  • Partner with recruiters and hiring managers on hiring needs, offer processes, and new hire integration.

  • Support engagement and culture initiatives that improve morale, retention, inclusion, and productivity.

  • Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws, company policies, and HR governance requirements.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional HR teams such as Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, L&D, and HR Operations to deliver consistent HR support.

  • Contribute to HR projects and process improvements that strengthen business partnership and operational effectiveness.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.

  • Typically 3-5 years of HR experience in roles such as HR Generalist, HR Coordinator, HR Advisor, or junior HRBP.

  • Working knowledge of employee relations, performance management, HR policies, and employment law basics.

  • Experience supporting managers and employees in a fast-paced business environment.

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters with discretion.

  • Analytical ability with experience using HR data, reports, and metrics.

  • Proficiency in HR systems and Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
