Position description:

As a Consultant Pathologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, quality, and reliability of diagnostic services delivered to our customers. Your expertise will directly contribute to clinical decision-making, patient outcomes, and the continuous enhancement of our diagnostic capabilities.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Review, analyze, and interpret a wide range of clinical pathology specimens.
  • Provide accurate, timely, and clinically relevant pathology reports in accordance with established medical and laboratory standards.
  • Ensure the highest levels of diagnostic accuracy, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance across pathology services.
  • Collaborate with laboratory operations teams and medical professionals to resolve complex diagnostic cases and provide expert clinical consultation.
  • Participate in quality control programs, proficiency testing, and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
  • Support NABL accreditation requirements and ensure adherence to applicable regulatory standards and laboratory best practices.
  • Contribute to the development and optimization of laboratory processes, protocols, and reporting standards.
  • Stay updated with advancements in pathology, diagnostic technologies, and emerging clinical practices.
  • Support training, knowledge sharing, and professional development initiatives within the laboratory team.

Required Skills:

  • MD in Pathology from a recognized institution with a valid medical registration/license.
  • 0–2 years of experience in pathology practice; fresh MD graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Strong diagnostic, analytical, and interpretive skills across pathology disciplines.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to reporting accuracy.
  • Sound understanding of quality assurance, laboratory standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with clinicians and laboratory teams.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative, patient-focused environment.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and staying current with developments in pathology and laboratory medicine.
