We are a Remote-first company, so yes, you can work pretty much from anywhere. But if you still need to go to the office every now and then, we currently have four offices located in Brazil (São Paulo), The USA (Austin), The UK (Bristol) and Singapore.

Our squad currently has 4 senior engineers working with many technologies such as Python, AWS and Spark. Our Product is the new interest engine product, making part of the Investments Tribe focused on customers around the world. All systems are to meet part of the journey of calculating interest on accounts or financial assets, the final objective of the squad’s product is to calculate interest according to the parameters defined by our users.

What you'll do

As part of the Interest Management squad you will be highly proficient in the engineering domain, a person who is able to write code that is regarded by their peers as high quality. As part of this squad you will:
  • Develop applications 100% focused on backend processing, with several batch processing as core.
  • Build highly scalable and flexible applications where you will be at the forefront of the challenge with connecting our systems with different platforms and in different ways ( HTTP API, input files, events) and balancing performance with cost.
  • Provide context and clarity to their work through documentation, proposals and books so that the team can easily understand what’s being built, why it was done that way, and how it can be built upon.
  • Proactively identifies problems in our product or platform.
  • Proactively seeks and gives timely, actionable feedback to their team. Feedback given has a positive impact on the overall contribution of others and their team.
  • Regularly mentors other engineers, particularly those less experienced than themselves. Able to onboard new engineers into their team.
  • Improves areas of the code they work on. Leaves things better than they found them

Minimum Qualifications

  • 4+ years experience with python
  • 3+ years experience with Spark
  • 1+ years with Batch processing
  • Experience with concurrent processing
  • 1+ years experience with SQL and Nosql databases
  • Experience with testing ( Unit / Integrated )
  • Event Driven Architecture experience
  • Experience with Rest APIs
  • Domain driven design experience

Experience with:

  • Databricks ( nice to have )
  • AWS services ( nice to have )
