Summary

As a member of a rapidly growing techfin and our newly forming Global Go-to-Market team, you will play a significant impact. You will synthesise product strategy across our clients, partners and the wider Pismo team, having an in-depth and customer-centric understanding of their requirements and where we need to be in new markets.

What you'll do

As a Senior Strategist - Payments you are responsible for shaping the strategic direction of Pismo’s payments products and solutions in the market.
You will synthesise product strategy across our clients, partners and the wider Pismo team, having an in-depth and customer-centric understanding of their requirements and where we need to be in new markets.
As a member of a rapidly growing techfin and our growing Global Go-to-Market team, you will have a significant impact which would include:
  • Developing and executing the payments product strategy for Pismo
  • Identifying market opportunities and product requirements
  • Ensuring localisation of payments solutions across current and future markets
  • Formulating product roadmaps and managing the lifecycle
  • Ensuring alignment of product strategy with compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Incorporating customer feedback and market feedback to identify customer pain points, gather insights, and implement product enhancements
  • Staying up to date on industry trends, regulations, and technologies related to payments
  • Providing payments leadership and strategic guidance internally & externally
  • Providing regular updates on product performance, market trends, and product strategy

Minimum Qualifications

  • Deep knowledge of cards clearing and payments including Real Time Payments
  • A solid understanding of payment systems, schemes, and regulations including BACS, FPS, SEPA, ACH, Clearing, SWIFT, Fast, Fedwire
  • Strong working local and industry knowledge including markets, growth areas, trends, competitive landscape, and potential prospects
  • Extensive experience in the product management discipline - e.g. a as product owner / leader
  • Good knowledge of how modern clouds native systems work
  • Exposure to areas such as data protection, high availability, regulatory landscape
