- Card Issuing: A fully featured platform for Visa, Mastercard, or private level issuing of credit and prepaid cards. Pismo’s platform allows its customers to control everything from client acquisition to account management.
- Digital Banking & Wallets: Pismo provides a transaction banking core for modern digital banking experiences, from easy client acquisition to enriched cash-in / cash-out operations and internal transfers / P2P transactions.
- Seller Management: From the onboarding to the daily management of each seller, Pismo’s platform runs a workflow process with pertinent settlement and commercial parameters for each transaction, such as MDR, clearing rules, settlement requirements, and days to pay.
Summary
The Product Director will be responsible for the Banking, Seller Management, Cross Core and Investments (including Assets/Depositary) teams.
What you'll do
- Define and drive the global product vision and strategy for Pismo’s banking platform, Seller Management and Assets/Depositary products.
- Lead and mentor multiple product tribes/squads, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Oversee the end-to-end product lifecycle, from ideation to launch, ensuring quality from a functional and non-functional perspective.
- Understand our market, including regulatory aspects, trends, benchmarks, competitive landscape and customer needs, to drive innovation and ensure that our platform remains at the forefront of the industry.
- Work closely with the Portfolio team, ensuring that product developments are aligned with Pismo`s strategic priorities.
- Collaborate with pre-sales and sales teams, providing technical expertise to drive successful product demonstrations and client engagements.
- Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and drive continuous improvement.
Minimum Qualifications
- In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with alternative payment methods (ex.: FedNow, RTP, Zelle, Venmo, FPS, SEPA, BACS, "On-us", digital wallets, "pay-by-bank") and core banking platforms (current/checking accounts), staying abreast of industry trends.
- Strong technical background with a track record of successfully managing complex, API-driven products
- Great communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address challenges and make informed decisions
- Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment.
