Job Description
Visa’s Intelligent Commerce team is building a next-generation platform that enables AI-powered agents to autonomously manage the shopping journey—from discovery to payment and post-purchase. This platform leverages tokenization, programmable controls, and agentic APIs to deliver secure, seamless, and intelligent commerce experiences.
The Product Manager will focus on defining and implementing Trusted Agent Protocol requirements, ensuring secure and compliant interactions between AI agents and commerce systems. This role emphasizes technical integration, compliance, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Trusted Agent Protocol Development
- Define functional and technical requirements for Trusted Agent Protocol.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to implement secure agent-to-agent communication.
Technical Integration & Enablement:
- Support integration workflows for tokenization, authentication, and API-based solutions.
- Create client-facing implementation guides and onboarding playbooks.
Compliance & Risk Management:
- Ensure adherence to security and regulatory standards for Trusted Agent Protocol.
- Coordinate legal and risk reviews for protocol-related features.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Partner with Engineering, GTM, and Operations teams to deliver protocol capabilities.
- Facilitate stakeholder workshops and provide status updates.
Operational Excellence:
- Monitor adoption and performance of Trusted Agent Protocol.
- Identify process improvements and automation opportunities.
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD
Preferred Qualifications:
- 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
- 4+ years in product management, preferably in payments or fintech.
- Strong understanding of tokenization, authentication, and API ecosystems.
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks and risk management.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Additional Information
Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 146,200.00 to 211,850.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
