Job Description
Purpose:
- Support sub-regional business development and functional units in managing Visa business to achieve the organization’s goals.
- Participate in creation of robust country and functional plans, track/report progress against plans aligned with timing of regular business reviews
- Support BPO Head in creation and management of the governance framework for CA leadership team to review performance of all Central Asia markets through periodic cross-functional review meetings
- •Participate in annual AOP process, facilitate best possible resource allocation for key business initiatives. Co-ordinate collection of relevant data with functional units, business development teams and management
- Act as champion for project management activities in Central Asia
- Provide a programmatic support to key projects/initiatives in CA (Value-added services, Cross-border, eCommerce, Affluent)
Principle Responsibilities
Business Analysis & Business Reporting:
- Prepare required reports and dashboards to provide business development teams, functional units and management with a clear picture of current business performance and progress towards targets
- Prepare monthly and quarterly business performance reports with commentary to highlight trends and key drivers contributing to the financial results.
- Support ad-hoc analysis (e.g. deep dives into markets, clients, products, revenue streams) to drive new sales efforts, identify gaps to targets and provide business insights that can support and enhance decision-making
- Collate inputs about key business activities in the region from key internal stakeholders to produce weekly and monthly reporting pack for the CA Country Manager.
- Participate in planning and analysis of distribution of incentive pools. Review investments with relevant departments and ensure re-allocation of funds where necessary.
- Participate in creation of common Business Reporting tools for the Region.
- Support BPO team in creation of management dashboards and providing insights based on internal/external data
- Participate in the design of appropriate reporting and MIS tools to transform complex data into concise and highly readable format
Deal Management and Sales Excellence
- Work closely with Account Executes, BPO Deal team and Finance to define appropriate deal structures, ensure deal profitability and safeguard company’s risk position
- Review and assess (challenge if necessary) client’s business case and projections
- Alignment with Functional Heads on the products/services to be offered within the deal
- Review and align on client requirements and deal structure with the Deal Team and/or Finance Team
- Analyze and evaluate reasons for lost deals and highlight improvement areas for future reference.
- Investigate and identify cause of factors for deals underperforming targets and work with internal stakeholders to define an action plan accordingly.
- Orchestrate functions’ efforts to generate and realize the effective deals and opportunities pipeline.
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in the office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- 8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD
Preferred Qualifications:
- 9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD
- 6-8+ years in business analysis, payments, or financial services, with deep understanding of Consumer Credit/Debit, Small Business, Commercial, Co Brand, and Merchant ecosystems.
- Advanced analytical and modeling capability (Excel, PPT – must. preferable: PowerBi, SQL, data visualization tools, forecasting, portfolio analytics), with proven ability to assess opportunities, structure insights, and drive fact based recommendations in complex, ambiguous environments.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, able to influence senior leaders, synthesize analytics into clear narratives, and collaborate across regional, functional, and matrixed teams.
- Execution driven operator with the ability to manage multiple initiatives, deliver end to end analysis, and translate data into actionable business and financial outcomes.
- Fluency in Russian and English required.
