Job Description
The Technical Project Manager for Cards and Payment will be responsible for overseeing the technical aspects of projects aimed at helping Visa clients integrate Visa products like Pismo, Tink, and Visa Direct into their services, ensuring seamless integration, migration, transition and adoption. This role combines leadership with hands-on delivery and implementation to drive readiness and successful outcomes for clients and Visa.
What you’ll do:
- Define and execute the implementation/migration strategy for Visa products within client environments.
- Lead cross-functional teams (engineering, data science, client stakeholders) through all phases of implementation/migration lifecycle.
- Ability to contribute to the design and development of technical artefacts, including architecture setups, technical blueprints, integration diagrams, and assessments of alternative technology solutions.
- Manage migration and integration projects, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing expert guidance and managing expectations.
- Analyze data and metrics to measure implementation/migration success and identify areas for continuous improvement.
- Stay abreast of industry trends in payments, product implementation, and technology to inform best practices.
- Drive stakeholder engagement, ensuring alignment across internal and external teams.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in product implementation, migration or delivery within the payments or FinTech industry.
- Understanding of Cards and Payment landscape and its eco-system
- Strong technical background, with understanding of data architecture, APIs, and real-time processing technologies.
- Experience managing complex projects in Agile and/or Waterfall environments.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, including at senior executive levels.
- Analytical mindset with a passion for data-driven decision-making.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Agile PM, SAFe Agile) are a plus.
- Problem-solving mindset with adaptability in dynamic client environments.
- Commitment to professional development and high ethical standards.
