What a Marketing Specialist does at Visa

The Marketing Specialist for our business in The Philippines is accountable for the seamless execution of Visa’s brand (B2C), solutions and client marketing activities (B2B).

You will report to the Head of Country Marketing and will be part of the Philippines Country Team to accelerate business growth, with a profit and loss (P&L) mindset focused on optimizing team performance and marketing investment. You will drive customer centricity within the organization by understanding the evolving payment ecosystem and changing consumer needs.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Deliver the Marketing VAS revenue target for Visa clients and lead key client marketing (B2B) programs, in close collaboration with key Visa cross-functional teams and the regional marketing team in Singapore
  • Work with and support the Head of Country Marketing in the strategic development and seamless execution of key consumer marketing programs (B2C) specifically across social, digital, KOL, OOH, activation channels, merchant partnership programs and point-of-sale brand visibility programs.
  • Work with key issuers to ensure Visa fair share in earned media channels is achieved, through regular communication of our key offers
  • Help manage the Philippines’ marketing budget and ensure that all activities adhere to Visa’s financial policies
  • Drive local market reporting and ROI tracking, including templates, methodology, cadence, and data integration, leveraging an ‘assess, test, and refine’ approach

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in the office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Qualifications

What you will need

  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in Business Management / Marketing or equivalent
  • Minimum 4-8 years of proven experience of related consumer and client marketing management, top-tier Financial, Payments, Technology or FMCG industry preferred
  • Passion for Visa business, technology innovation, with high energy and intelligence
  • Proven experience in being part of great creative work development process, support effective agency management process across creative, media, digital, and below-the-line activities
  • Strong project management skills and analytical thinking
  • Strong presentation, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Possess high learning agility
  • Demonstrates proven ability to work with clients across existing and new partners
  • Experience working in complex, cross-functional projects / teams across internal and external organizations
  • Ability to operate effectively and efficiently in a challenging, fast-paced environment
