Job Description

Are you looking for a paid internship in Embedded Software Development? Are you interested in working in an international environment and supporting a dynamic engineering team? If you're available for 20 hours per week, we're looking for you!

As an Embedded Software Intern, you will be part of a collaborative and experienced engineering team. You'll work with specialists who value innovation, teamwork, and continuous learning. This paid internship offers a chance to develop practical skills in C/C++ programming, networking standards, and embedded systems. We offer you flexible working hours with a hybrid work model based in Katowice, Poland. Internship starts in January or February.

You will report to the Manager, Embedded Software.

Your Responsibilities:

• Learn and support programming in C/C++ within Unix/Linux environments.
• Help implement network standards, especially in industrial automation.
• Participate in team activities, including daily project meetings.
• Support analysis and troubleshooting of technical issues under the guidance of experienced engineers.
• Prepare simple scripts or helper tools to support integration and automation processes (after training).

The Essentials – You Will Have:

• Fundamentals of C/C++ programming (C++ preferred)
• Basic knowledge of Unix/Linux operating systems
• Language skills: good English (spoken and written, B2)
• Legal work and stay permits in Poland
• Student status (for at least 6 months)
• Interest in building a long-term career with the company
• Understanding of basic concepts in industrial automation and embedded systems.
• Basic knowledge of network protocols and their application in automation.
• Soft skills: eagerness to learn, communication skills, ability to work in a team.

The Preferred – You Might Also Have:

• Academic experience or personal projects in C/C++ programming.
• Familiarity with Agile/Safe methodologies.
