Job Description
Contract Management Responsibilities:
- Lead the negotiating and drafting of sales agreements, nondisclosure agreements, master purchase agreements, and master services agreements.
- Review and seek out contractual risks, and guide others within the organization on ways to mitigate those risks.
- Work with people from business units, legal counsel, and other responsibilities to obtain approval for non-standard contractual positions.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to the company on contractual rights and remedies.
- Develop and carry out training plans on company contracting processes.
- Network globally with main contacts outside one's own area of expertise.
- Grow through continuous learning and development of skills.
- Make an impact on departmental process improvements and project activities.
- Participate in global calls and meetings by phone, Teams, or occasionally travel in-person.
- Give customers a valuable experience.
- Provide support to other departments at Rockwell as a Subject Matter Expert (SME).
You will report to the Regional Contracts Manager, North America
Basic Qualifications:
- 3 to 5 years' experience negotiating terms and conditions of sales or purchase contracts.
- Bachelor's Degree in law or business or related field.
- Hybrid work-from-home and at a Rockwell Automation facility in Mexico City, Mexico or Sao, Paolo, Brasil. Rockwell Automation will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.
- Occasional business travel within the designated region(s).
- Excellent English speaking, comprehension, and writing skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Additional language speaking, comprehension and writing skills
- A postgraduate degree in law, information security, cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Experience negotiating contracts for Engineered-To-Order Solutions, Engineering Services, Software, Industrial Automation, and Technology.
- Experience with regulatory compliance related to cybersecurity and data privacy laws.
- Confidence with speaking in group settings and initiative to bring negotiations to a close.
- Strategic focus and a code of ethics.
