Job Description

You will report to: Manager Supplier Quality EMEA

Your Responsibilities:

  • Direct activities to ensure suppliers deliver quality parts, materials, and services. Qualify suppliers according to company standards.
  • Monitor parts from acquisition through the manufacturing cycle, and communicate and resolve supplier related problems.
  • Develop and prioritize an auditing schedule to ensure that designated suppliers are audited to ensure good manufacturing practices and quality standards are met.
  • Evaluate suppliers' internal functions to assess their overall performance, improve supplier's DPPM and quality incidents performance.
  • Develop and implement predictive and preventative actions with suppliers to improve overall quality.
  • Support NPI projects and Help review engineering designs to contribute supplier quality requirements and considerations.
  • Work on issues resolution or customer complaints caused by supplier quality issues, improve Corrective Actions and Preventions Actions (CAPA) to meet internal plants and end customer's expectation.
  • Follow processes and operational policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
  • Manage supplier change and focus on risk mitigation.
  • Support Company's strategic framework, engage with other cross-function teams (SSO , Engineering , Manufacturing Plants) to support with each other's' main projects.
  • Lead on SQA internal process /system improvement, improve main commodities /suppliers' quality development, implement prevention and zero-defect planning using APQP and DfX methodologies
  • Networks with senior internal/external personnel in own area of expertise.

The Essentials - You Will Have:

  • Bachelor's Degree. Bachelors in an Engineering discipline or masters (e.g. Mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, computer engineering, process engineering).
  • 8 years quality experience Supplier Quality/Ops Quality/Mfg Quality.
  • Skills on quality tools, preferred 6 sigma BB or GB certified
  • Team worker
  • Proficiency in English on reading/writing and oral
  • Engineering knowledge of Mechanical or Components and Commodities.
  • Experience managing a team or team leader but not mandatory.
