Job Description

Software Developer – C#

We are looking for C# developer to work in a team of about 5 developers on main Rockwell Automation products. The main focus in on developing SW products and application components for industrial automation but not exclusively related to FactoryTalk Optix. The team is also involved in the design of the product architecture and design and in communication with Rockwell Automation customers regarding product features. The typical work of the developer includes programming, unit and functional testing, code review and providing developer documentation.

You will report to the Manager located in Prague and have a hybrid schedule working in modern offices in Holešovice.

Your Responsibilities:

• You will participate in the development of software applications.
• Active involvement in SW application design is also expected.
• You will be a part of a broader international team.
• Communication with customers of Rockwell Automation may also be needed to discuss customer's requirements and comments.

The Essentials - You Will Have:

• Bachelor degree (or higher) from an IT-focused program is expected.
• Experience of minimum 5 years in backend development is required.
• Be familiar with C# and .Net stack in general, for desktop Windows applications.
• Experience with git or other version control system.
• Fluent Czech.
• English at least at the level of reading/writing technical documentation with the willingness to improve it.
• Flexibility and willingness to participate in professional development activities to stay current on industry knowledge.

The Preferred - You Might Also Have:

• Experience with software quality processes (code reviews, unit testing).
• Flexibility to changing tasks, and team-oriented mindset are expected.
• Experience in agile project management and scrum methodology.
• Experience with container platforms and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
