Job Description

Team Leader – Quality Management

Location -Noida/Pune-India

The Team Leader – Quality Management will lead a team of quality professionals and lead quality management across GEBS business unit.

You will champion, support, and govern quality management systems, ensuring alignment with ISO 9001:2015 and Rockwell Automation's global quality framework and standards.

As a people manager, the Team Leader will coach and develop team members, promoting a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. The role requires balancing operational delivery with talent development, ensuring the team is engaged, empowered, and aligned to organizational goals.

You will report to the Manager

Your Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of quality professionals, setting clear goals, monitoring progress, and providing constructive feedback.

  • Oversee end-to-end deployment, maintenance, and governance of the QMS in alignment with GEBS Leadership and LCS Quality Leadership.

  • Provides expert guidance to delivery teams and senior management on quality strategy, compliance frameworks, and risk mitigation.

  • Ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015 and other applicable standards across GEBS/ LCS.

  • Drive quality monitoring, and reporting, including KPIs, dashboards, and executive summaries.

  • Owns Quality Gate Reviews, transactional quality checks, internal audits, external audits, and CAPA activities.

  • Automation and digital transformation of QMS processes to improve traceability, efficiency, and data integrity.

  • Root cause analysis and corrective action planning, ensuring resolution of systemic issues to avoid their recurrence.

  • Act as key liaison for customer quality concerns, external audits, and certification bodies.

  • Identify and prioritize improvement projects, ensuring resources are directed toward high-impact initiatives.

  • Promote opportunities for standardization and harmonization of processes across functions and regions.

  • Support team capability building by identifying skill gaps, facilitating training, and encouraging cross-functional exposure.

  • Contribute to LCS-wide quality projects, ensuring GEBS agreement on enterprise standards.

  • Influence organisational stakeholders to adopt quality practices and drive change management effectively

The Essentials - You Will Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, Quality, or related discipline.

  • 10–12 years of experience in quality management, engineering, or project management.

  • Knowledge/ experience of ISO 9001:2015, and QMS and related processes.

  • Experience conducting internal/external audits, CAPA, and compliance frameworks.

  • Fluent English language skills (speaking, reading, writing, and listening).

• Exposure to global work styles and customer engagement across regions.

The Preferred - You Might Also Have:

  • Lead Auditor ISO 9001:2015.

  • 3+ years of experience of Engineering Delivery & Operations.

  • 3+ years of experience with DMS (document management system) and Project Management.
