Job Description
Senior Product Specialist
Bangalore
We are seeking a seasoned professional to provide advanced user support for Rockwell Automation’s Digital Tools ensuring users across regions can configure, quote, and troubleshoot efficiently. The role blends hands-on technical support with stakeholder collaboration across Product Owners, IT, and Customer Care, and requires deep industrial automation domain knowledge. Experience with Rockwell Automation products is a strong advantage.
You will report Global Manager – Digital Tools and follow a Hybrid working schedule in Bangalore
Your Responsibilities:
Frontline & escalated user support for Digital Tools via tickets, email, and Teams; own issues end-to-end through resolution.
Diagnose and troubleshooting configuration, pricing, and data-sync problems and coordinating fixes with Product Data Modelling and IT team.
Operate within the standardized support), maintain clear communication threads, and ensure transparency of status and ownership.
Create and maintain knowledge articles (how-to, known issues, workarounds) and contribute to release notes for tool updates.
Proactively monitor tool health and user feedback; identify patterns, drive root-cause analysis, and recommend process or product improvements.
Collaborate with Product Owners and development teams to validate fixes, influence backlog priorities, and improve usability and performance.
Advocate for continuous improvement in user experience and adoption.
The Essentials - You Will Have:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering—Electrical, Electronics, or Instrumentation (or equivalent).
10+ years’ work experience in industrial automation or related technical domains.
Strong command of English—clear, concise written and spoken communication.
Demonstrated experience in field support, technical support, or user support environments.
Technical problem solving & root-cause analysis
Customer focus with high empathy and professionalism
Written/visual documentation and knowledge sharing
Cross-functional collaboration and influence without authority
Ownership & urgency—ability to manage multiple priorities
The Preferred - You Might Also Have:
Hands-on familiarity with Rockwell Automation products and software.
Experience supporting or using any one of Rockwell Automation’s tools (ProposalWorks, IAB or Advisor)
Exposure to ticketing workflows.
Strong stakeholder management skills; comfortable collaborating across Product Owners, Development and IT teams.
