Job Description

You will be within the Control and Visualization Business, which develops software products that allow industrial automation.
Reporting to Engineering Manager
Your Responsibilities:
- You will manage and define the system test strategy, aligned with product roadmaps and delivery plans.
- You will lead a system test team, including senior contributors.
- You will anticipate delivery and quality risks, adjusting the release system test strategy, staffing, and priorities.
- You will translate product roadmaps and delivery plans into clear QA execution models.
- You will define system test strategies for new product features, large-scale enhancements, and complex integrations.
- You will establish delivery-oriented quality metrics, such as release readiness, quality gates, and predictability.
- You will partner with Product Managers, Engineering Leaders and contractors to balance quality, speed, and risk.
- You will guide teams on system test automation strategy and adoption (teams build hands-on automation).
- You will improve of system test processes in fast-growing envoroments.
- You will mentor the system test team, encouraging ownership, accountability, and leadership across the organization.
- You will be a trusted advisor to leadership on quality, delivery impact, and operational trade-offs.
The Essentials - You Will Have:
- Engineering degree or related experience.
The Preferred - You Might Also Have:
- 8–10 or more years of experience in Software Quality Assurance within product development environments.
- 3–6 years of experience in test leadership roles, supporting multi-team and multi-product delivery.
- Experience QA capacity planning, and roadmap agreement.
- Background collaborating with Product, Engineering, and Delivery leadership.
- Experience defining QA strategies for complex products, integrations, and large-scale releases.
- Experience with Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and their impact on QA planning.
- Experience scaling QA processes in fast-growing or evolving organizations.
- We require no prior hands-on automation development experience for exposure to test automation concepts.
