Job Description

As an Associate Technology Consultant, you will be an entry‑level technical sales support role that assists sales teams by providing foundational product, solution, or technology expertise.

Reporting to the Manager, Software and Control, South Pacific, you will learn, shadow and support customer engagements under close guidance.

This role will be a hybrid role based in our Hawthorn, Melbourne office.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Support pre‑sales activities alongside experienced consultants or account managers
  • Assist with customer presentations, demonstrations, and basic technical discussions
  • Help prepare technical documentation, proposals, and solution summaries
  • Learn Rockwell Automation products, technologies, and value propositions
  • Collaborate with sales, distributors, and internal technical teams on opportunities

The Essentials - You Will Have:

  • Bachelor's degree (or near completion) in Engineering, Automation, IT, or related field
  • Strong communication skills and willingness to learn customer‑facing work
  • Interest in sales, solutions, or technical consulting

The Preferred - You Might Also Have:

  • Relevant experience in Industrial Automation such as DCS, PLC etc.
