Job Description

Rockwell Automation is seeking a Product Manager to join the Global Low Voltage Drives team. Reporting to the Global Business Manager, Compact AC Drives, this role owns an assigned portfolio of existing and/or new products and is based at Rockwell Automation’s Compact AC Drives headquarters in Singapore.

You will have end‑to‑end responsibility for product strategy, commercialization, and lifecycle management, working cross‑functionally to deliver differentiated solutions, successful new product introductions, and profitable global growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Strategy & Portfolio Leadership

· Own global product strategy, roadmap, and portfolio performance, including revenue, margin, pricing, and lifecycle investments

· Drive demand forecasting, competitive analysis, and continuation engineering

Agile Product Management (SAFe)

· Translate market and customer insights into epics and features using Jira, Jira Align, and Jama

· Partner with engineering and architecture to align customer value, technical feasibility, and delivery cadence

New Product Introduction & Lifecycle Management

· Partner with NPI teams to deliver products that meet customer, quality, and time‑to‑market requirements

· Support product launches through value messaging, enablement, validation, and go‑to‑market readiness

· Manage lifecycle decisions, including cost optimization and end‑of‑life strategies

Market, Customer & Competitive Insight

· Maintain strong understanding of customer applications, buying drivers, and unmet needs

· Monitor market trends, technology evolution, and competitive offerings to identify growth opportunities

· Engage customers, regions, and sales teams to validate strategy and accelerate adoption

Cross‑Functional Leadership

· Collaborate across product management, engineering, quality, supply chain, sales, and marketing to achieve business objectives

· Balance scope, funding, capacity, and risk to maximize business value

The Essential – You will have.

· Bachelor’s degree required (Engineering or related technical discipline preferred)

· Experience in industrial automation or electrical, electronic, or mechanical systems

· Strong strategic thinking with ability to translate market needs into product direction

· Proven ability to influence across global, cross‑functional teams

· Willingness to travel up to 25%

· Legal authorization to work in Singapore (no visa sponsorship)

The Preferred – You might also have

· 8+ years’ experience in product management, engineering, applications, sales, or marketing

· Experience with variable speed drives or industrial automation products

· Knowledge of PLCs, industrial networks, and IIoT architecture

· Familiarity with SAFe / Agile product management

· Strong communication and stakeholder‑influencing skills

· Comfortable operating in ambiguity with a proactive, analytical mindset
