Our EMEA Plex team is looking to add a Delivery Consultant to support customers in EMEA region. As a manufacturing expert, your mission is to ensure customers successfully implement the Plex Smart Manufacturing Platform and develop the customer team into self-sufficient Plex experts.

You will use your experience in MES, Materials Management or Quality to provide consulting leadership to customers within the manufacturing industry.

In addition to MES consulting, this role includes hands‑on work with system integration, including PLC connectivity, machine data acquisition, and SQL‑based reporting.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both functional consulting and technical integration work, and who is comfortable working with manufacturing processes, PLC data, and cloud-based MES systems.

You will report to the EMEA Manager, Plex Professional Services.

Your responsibilities - what you will do

  • Provide multi‑faceted services for customers including new implementations, solution optimization, packaged services, and expansion projects.
  • Engage in customer kick-off meetings: review project expectations, deliverables, and training timelines.
  • Build strong relationships with customers and internal team members.
  • Monitor and deliver to an agreed project plan and implementation timeline
  • Gather and document accurate requirements for software configuration to meet the true business needs of the customer.
  • Gather information, research and manage customer support requests from creation to completion.
  • Communicate appropriate options for resolution and status in a timely manner.
  • Manage timelines and deliverables with internal departments and customers.
  • Conduct workshops.
  • Implement and test software configurations.
  • Design and support integrations between MES and PLCs, ERP systems, and shop‑floor devices.
  • Collaborate with automation engineers to define data mapping and communication flows.
  • Support data acquisition, machine connectivity, and real‑time data flows.
  • Participate in testing and validation of integrated solutions.
  • Travel to customer sites as required.
  • Provide on-site support at go-live events.

The essential - you will have

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Citizenship of European Union member state.
  • Ability to travel up to 40% of the time.
  • A valid driving license.

The preferred – you might also have

  • 5+ years of experience within the manufacturing industry / operations and experience implementing an MES solution.
  • 2+ years of consulting experience in implementing software solutions.
  • IT and automation background supporting MES–PLC integration, data flows, and SQL reporting.
  • Work with SQL for troubleshooting, reporting, and data analysis.
  • Basic understanding of industrial automation concepts (PLC, machine data collection).
  • Expertise in integration between MES and ERP, API management concepts.
  • Experience with Boomi integration software.
  • Experience configuring software to meet customer requirements.
  • Experience testing and validating software configurations both internally and with clients.
  • Prior experience with Plex software.
