Job Description
Summary
Provide application support to customers who have a critical application and require Rockwell Automation to expand their expertise or completely take on support of their application. Respond to situations where first-line product support has not isolated or fixed the malfunctioning equipment, their application or software.
Your Responsibilities:
Report design, reliability and maintenance problems or bugs to design engineering/software engineering.
May involve customers in installation and training. May involve in some small application design, testing and install. We will require you to travel to the customer site for contract initiation / startup and to gain knowledge on the customer's application in preparation for supporting the customer.
Will also participate in on site annual update meetings to recap the previous year's technical challenges and help to present the value our services bring to the customer. The Application Support Engineer will be a member of several designated teams supporting multiple customers.
You will establish relationships with each customer and become a trusted advisor to that customer.
You will be the contact for ongoing issues and will work with their team and the customer to help and lead issues to resolution.
The Application Support Engineer will expect to keep the customer informed of progress and set the appropriate expectations with the customer.

The Essentials - You Will Have:
Bachelor's Degree in electronics, electrical ,electromechanical engineering or related
English 80%
Portuguese (is a plus)
The Preferred - You Might Also Have:
3 years in similar position
- Track record in engineering support, troubleshooting, application, or design of industrial - automation systems. (software & hardware)
- Experience solving customer automation system issues.-
Can work with people, handle and deal with high pressure situations. -
Must be able to manage multiple problems with changing priorities.
Must be able to interface with all levels of management.
