Project Manager
Location: Mexico or Colombia
Reporting to: Senior Manager , Marketing Communications
Modality: Hybrid
The Project Manager / Traffic Manager oversees and optimizes content and design production workflows across marketing programs, including product launches, campaigns, and sales enablement. You will be the central hub for project intake, resourcing, prioritization, and execution, ensuring work moves from request through delivery.
Operate in an agency-style model, the Project Manager (PM) partners with several team members. These partners include MarComm, PR, Social, Digital Demand and Operations, Web, and cross-teams. The PM manages capacity, assigns work, sets timelines, and tracks deliverables within Optimizely (CMP).
The PM is accountable for by enforcing intake standards, maintaining production schedules, mitigating risks, and refining processes to improve operational efficiency. You will play an important part in standardizing workflows, improving team transparency, and ensuring execution across marketing programs.
Beyond daily traffic and production management, the PM supports broader project management and transformation projects across the MarComm organization. This includes contributing to enablement and training efforts, supporting change management activities, and helping teams adopt new tools, and ways of working that improve efficiency and consistency.
You will operate, requiring the ability to manage a high volume of incoming requests,, and ensure workload distribution across teams.
We prefer experience with Optimizely (CMP); however, we will also consider candidates who have experience using similar project and workflow management tools such as Adobe Workfront, Percolate, Microsoft Copilot, or equivalent platforms. You will bring 5+ years of experience managing request intake, prioritization, and work allocation across multiple team members.
Reporting to the Senior Marketing Communications Manager, the PM is a critical contributor to keeping the MarComm organization running smoothly through organization, communication, and disciplined project and traffic management.
Responsibilities
- Work with the Sr. Marketing Communication Manager and team members to accept project requests and set and meet milestone dates while communicating and addressing any challenges that put a project at risk.
- Manage request intake, prioritization, and work allocation across multiple concurrent marketing projects.
- Oversee project plans in Optimizely (or similar platforms) for marketing initiatives that span multiple media, including events, social, campaigns, webinars, web, sales enablement, and product launches.
- Oversee the marketing deliverable request process, iterating and making improvements.
- Own and oversee marketing calendars within project management tools.
- Guide communication between stakeholders and teams (Web, PR, Social, MarComm, Digital, and Operations).
- Organize check-ins with contributors to ensure deadlines are met deliverables and manage project sync meetings.
- Maintain dashboards, and data analytics to track performance, engagement, operational metrics, and Value across marketing projects.
- Be the traffic/project manager for creative and content production projects.
- Manage dashboards to monitor operational metrics and team workload.
- Complete transformation-related projects by coordinating enablement sessions, developing and delivering training materials, and supporting daily change management activities to increase adoption of new tools, and workflows.
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Project Management, or a related field.
- +6 years of experience in project management within a marketing function or similar role.
- Experience managing request intake, prioritization, and resource allocation across multiple team members.
- Working knowledge of project management platforms Optimizely, or similar tools such as Adobe Workfront, Percolate, Microsoft Copilot, or equivalent platforms.
- With experience maintaining accurate project data, calendars, and dashboards within project management tools.
- Knowledge of industry best practices for project management.
- Advanced level of English
- Knowledge of sprint planning or workflow management.
