Job Description
We are looking for a Analyst to join our global DMI Team. This role is critical in transforming data into relevant insights that inspire operational efficiency, improve inventory management, and support strategic decision-making across the Rockwell VMI program.
You will have close working relationships with teams outside of the Supply Chain, specifically in GSM (Channels and Sales), Operations, and our Distribution Network. You will report to the Global DMI process excellence Manager and your workplace is located in Rotterdam, Netherlands, based on the Rockwell hybrid working policy..
Your Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights into inventory performance (e.g., inventory segmentation, inventory turns, in-stock rates, EDI visibility, and order line management)
- Translate complex datasets into clear insights and recommendations to support business stakeholders and decision-making
- Lead regional initiatives to standardize and improve DMI/VMI processes, enhancing efficiency and user experience across systems and tools
- Perform advanced data analysis in tools such as Excel and SQL to support Sales, Channels, and Distribution partners
- Identify opportunities to reduce total supply chain costs by optimizing inventory strategies and the global distribution network
- Support DMI planners with ad-hoc analyses to improve operational responsiveness and planning accuracy
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity across systems, reporting tools, and analytics platforms
- Contribute to the development of scalable reporting and data automation solutions
The Essentials - You Will Have:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Data Science, Supply Chain, or related field.
- 3 or more years of experience in materials planning, inventory management, end-to-end supply chain or VMI process
- Experience working with operational key performance indicators and supply chain metrics.
- Proficiency in SQL for data extraction, transformation, and analysis
- Advanced Excel skills (including complex formulas and data modeling)
- Solid analytical foundation with knowledge of statistics (mean, median, standard deviation, correlation, regression)
- Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI,Tableau, Looker also acceptable)
- Ability to automate reporting and streamline data workflows (e.g., Power Query or similar tools)
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Ability to collaborate across global teams and time zones 10% of the time
- Availability to travel 10% of the time.
- Language – English is mandatory
The Preferred - You Might Also Have:
- Apics certification - CPIM - Certified in Production & Inventory Management
- Familiarity with ERP systems SAP and supply chain tools (WMS, TMS, APS).
- Green belt certification
- Knowledge with data governance and privacy standards
- Experience with or understanding of EDI transactions
