We are looking for a Commodity Manager focused on Software for our Rockwell products. With guidance from the Manager of IT Strategic Sourcing, you will develop the sourcing strategy for assigned software and technology commodities and suppliers, using input from the sourcing team and key global/regional stakeholders within the business units. • Drive AI adoption by developing use cases, defining potential ROI, and implementing skills or agents—either self-directed or with technical support.
  • Lead strategic sourcing initiatives within the software supply base, driving results across cross-functional teams, influencing without authority, navigating uncertainty, and acting as a catalyst for change to achieve business goals and overcome barriers.
  • Develop expertise in IT strategies, business unit products, and functional needs for commodities and services; partner with stakeholders to understand objectives and translate them into effective sourcing strategies, while staying current on market trends, supplier economics, and best practice sourcing.
  • Manage global suppliers by monitoring performance across security, quality, delivery, and lead time, and conducting regular strategic business reviews with suppliers and stakeholders to drive continuous improvement of the supply base.
  • Measure and track sourcing KPIs across commodities and services, providing monthly reporting to senior management on key metrics including savings, quality, delivery, lead time, and market trends.
  • Identify and implement Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) reduction opportunities by leading internal and supplier-facing initiatives, driving annual productivity improvements aligned with sourcing strategy (including security expectations, supplier operations, demand management, and supply chain flexibility).
  • Foster an inclusive and engaging culture that supports employee performance, development, and retention.
  • Ensure adherence to sourcing policies, procedures, and standards of business conduct.

The Essentials - You Will Have:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Years of Relevant Work Experience.
