Role Overview

As the Brand, Media & PR Lead, you will own Pluang's brand presence across paid media, earned media, and live brand experiences. You are the person who brings a campaign to life — from crafting the integrated media plan, all the way through to the press release and the on-ground activation.

This is a senior individual contributor and managerial role at the same time. You will co-lead brand campaign development with Product Marketing and Creative, own Pluang's integrated media strategy, and be the go-to for anything that touches how the brand shows up in the world — including when things go wrong.

Strong stakeholder management isn't a nice-to-have here — it's the job. You'll be pulling internal teams and external marketing vendors & partners in the same direction at the same time, and your negotiation leaves both sides feeling they won.

Responsibilities:

Brand Campaign & Integrated Media Planning

  • Co-lead brand campaign development end-to-end with Product Marketing and Creative
  • Own integrated media planning: strategy, channel selection, media buying (OOH, digital, broadcast), and post-campaign reporting
  • Lead big media buys including OOH placements and Mega KOL activations — from brief through to reconciliation
  • Translate campaign objectives into sharp media plans with clear KPIs and budget allocation

Campaign Production & External Partner Management

  • Own campaign production management across all brand touchpoints
  • Lead vendor negotiations — rates, timelines, scope of work, and deliverables, working closely with Procurement, Legal and Finance leads
  • Ensure every production is well executed on brief, on time, and on budget
  • Manage agency and production house relationships with commercial discipline together with Creative Director and Project Manager

Media & Brand Partnerships

  • Develop and manage Pluang's media and brand partnership portfolio in support of SEO and Brand Consideration growth
  • Identify, pitch, and close strategic partnerships that extend brand reach and reinforce brand positioning
  • Work with the Content Strategy Lead to ensure partnership content is editorially coherent

PR & Brand Activation

  • Own PR strategy and BAU execution: media releases, agency briefing, media relations, and crisis communications
  • Lead brand activation through event support and on-ground execution in coordination with the Community teams, our Media Partner and appointed Event Organizer
  • Serve as Pluang's first line of response in a media or reputational crisis

Requirements:

Background: You are either an ex-media agency planner who has moved brand-side and brings deep media planning fluency, or a brand marketer who has consistently owned media strategy and buying. PR experience is a strong plus. You must have enough MarComm breadth to also cover event planning when needed.

  • Proven ability to orchestrate complex, multi-channel campaigns from brief to post-mortem
  • Sharp creative judgment — you know what a good campaign looks like and can articulate why
  • Confident negotiator with vendors, media owners and their editorial teams, and agency partners
  • Comfortable owning a budget and being accountable for media ROI
  • Experience handling PR, media relations, or crisis communications — or a credible track record of working alongside PR specialists and stepping in when needed
  • Up to 9 years in brand marketing, integrated media, or communications
