Role Overview:
Pluang operates in a heavily regulated environment (OJK, BAPPEBTI) and is scaling rapidly across multiple countries. HR cannot remain purely administrative — it must function as a true business partner: one that understands regulation, translates policy into behavior, and keeps people engaged amid the pressures of fast growth. This role sits at the intersection of compliance and people. The person who fills it must be equally comfortable in both worlds.
Responsibilities:
Policy & Regulatory Compliance
Ensure all company policies (Company Regulations, SOPs, internal guidelines) remain current, compliant with the latest Indonesian Labor Law, and relevant to the company’s operational context
Serve as the first point of contact for regulatory document requests from OJK, BAPPEBTI, and Disnaker — preparing, validating, and coordinating with the Legal team
Conduct semi-annual policy gap analyses and develop action plans to close identified gaps
Drive policy socialization across all employees — not limited to email blasts, but ensuring genuine understanding and adoption
HR Business Partner — Indonesia
Act as a proactive and trusted partner to Heads and Managers across assigned business units — present, visible, and accessible
Monitor Manpower Plans and People Cost — tracking actuals vs. budget, flagging anomalies, and coordinating with Finance
Serve as an escalation point for people issues at the team level: conflicts, underperformance, and engagement dips — before they escalate
Collaborate with HR COEs (Talent Acquisition, HR Operations, Performance Management) to deliver people solutions — not merely route problems
Conduct regular touchpoints with high performers as part of ongoing retention efforts
Employee Engagement
Design and execute an employee engagement calendar — including events, recognition programs, and pulse surveys
Manage the engagement budget efficiently and with full accountability
Analyze engagement survey results and translate insights into concrete, measurable actions
Requirements:
Must-Have
8 years of HR experience, with exposure to at least 2 of 3 areas: HRBP, Policy/Compliance, or Employee Relations
Hands-on experience with Indonesian labor regulation — not just theoretical knowledge
Strong communicator: able to engage C-level stakeholders and frontline employees in equally effective but different ways
Comfortable working with data — able to read and interpret people cost, headcount, and attrition figures
Active English proficiency — required for regional exposure and cross-country communication
Strong Plus
Experience in fintech, banking, or another regulated industry
Prior involvement in regulatory audits or due diligence processes
Familiarity with Darwinbox or equivalent HRIS platforms
Familiarity with AI tools especially Claude
