The Director, Talent Acquisition will lead recruiting across all geographies and functions. This individual will partner with leaders across the business to attract and hire the global talent required to bring AI to local businesses and reach our next stage of growth.
This role is required to be in office 5 days per week in our Lehi, Utah HQ.
What you will be doing:
- Hire, coach, and develop a team of high-performing recruiting managers and individual contributors across all functions (e.g., G&A, GTM, Technical)
- Run a performance and data-driven recruiting team - driving pipeline, holding the team accountable to metrics, and moving with extreme urgency
- Partner closely with senior leadership to align recruiting strategy with business priorities. Oversee the recruiting lifecycle for executive-level positions internally and with external search partners, when needed
- Build an AI-driven recruiting function - lead the team in adopting and scaling AI
- Build playbooks and processes that allow our recruiting function to scale
- Get in the weeds - source candidates directly, own reqs when needed, and stay close to the work
- Employer branding - build an employer brand that attracts the right talent
What you should have:
- 7+ years recruiting experience, including experience leading leaders and building high-performing teams - not just holding a book of reqs
- Experience at a SaaS company of meaningful scale - you've built or scaled a recruiting function, not just maintained one
- Sales team mentality - you run recruiting like a revenue org: pipeline reviews, accountability, and hustle. You get in the weeds, can pick up a req if the team needs it, and stay close enough to the work to source and show up to syncs
- You're data-driven - you run your function off metrics and use numbers to make every decision, coach your team, and communicate up
- First principles thinking - if your instinct is to slow things down, look at best practices, and add unnecessary process, this isn't the right fit
- Extreme urgency - You move fast, expect the same from your team, and don't let pipeline sit
- AI fluency - you're not just aware of AI tools, you are already leveraging AI to improve recruiting outcomes
What we hope you have:
- Technical recruiting background - you've hired engineers, product, or other technical roles and can complement a team that already knows how to do it
- Experience building scalable processes from the ground up - you don't rely on inbound or brand to do the work for you
- Deep sourcing expertise - You don't just source - you can teach it. You help your team build the skill, not just hit the number
Why you’ll love working here:
- The work matters: hiring and recruiting the best global talent is critical to bringing AI to local businesses, the backbone of every modern economy
- You'll work alongside other talented, AI-forward operators
- You'll have real ownership to build a recruiting org from a position of strength
- Podium is winning, and this is your seat on that team
