About Port
At Port.io, we are building an open and flexible Agentic Engineering Platform for modern engineering organizations. Following our recent $100M Series C funding round, we are in a phase of rapid hypergrowth with strong enterprise momentum.
We act as the central nervous system for engineering, enabling platform teams to unify their stack and expose it as a governed layer through golden paths for developers and AI agents.
By combining rich engineering context, workflows, and actions, we help organizations transition from manual processes to autonomous, AI-assisted engineering workflows while maintaining control and accountability.
As a product-led company, we believe in building world-class platforms that fundamentally shape how modern engineering organizations operate.
We are looking for a highly motivated product growth specialist to be responsible for guiding our newest users through the critical early stages of their journey. You will combine hands-on coaching with data-driven insights to turn signups into long-term, successful power users.
As a product-led company, we believe the recipe for success is building an innovative, world-class product that speaks for itself and provides great value to our customers. As a Product Growth Specialist, you are the human catalyst for adoption. Using deep platform expertise, you’ll eliminate roadblocks and ensure every user realizes the product's full potential as quickly as possible.
What will you be doing?
- Own the early user journey from signup through activation - acquire deep platform knowledge and use it to guide users through setup, configuration, and first successful use.
- Proactively engage users who haven’t reached value yet - deliver short onboarding calls, asynchronous guidance, or “do-it-with-you” sessions when needed.
- Identify product growth opportunities - surface insights from user interactions and collaborate with Product, Growth, Support, and technical content to improve activation flows and in-product onboarding.
- Monitor key metrics - such as time to first value, activation rate, and early retention and engagement.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in a high-touch/high-impact role such as growth, customer success, or sales engineering within a SaaS, product-led company.
- You have a strong technical orientation and can understand complex technical concepts and technologies.
- You are analytical and experienced in working with both qualitative and quantitative insights to drive decisions.
- You are a clear and concise communicator, capable of translating complex workflows into simple, actionable steps - whether on a live call or via a quick video.
- You have a genuine passion for helping users solve problems and a relentless drive to help them reach value.
- Previous experience as a developer or a DevOps engineer - an advantage.
