Your Mission

As a Renewals Specialist at Propeller, you will play a vital role in revolutionizing the utilization of drone data at worksites worldwide. Working closely with our sales teams and reporting to the Account Management Team Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of our renewal processes. This involves proactive communication with our customers and dealers throughout the renewal cycle, guaranteeing timely renewals and preventing churn. Prior customer-facing experience will be vital in helping you navigate these external relationships.

Your primary focus will be supporting and empowering our North America account management team members to execute their renewals promptly. By facilitating the renewal of our customers in these regions, you will contribute significantly to our financial health and overall company mission.


In this role, you will collaborate cross-functionally with our GTM (Go-To-Market) teams to complete renewal cycles. This opportunity for high impact presents a great challenge for you to contribute to Propeller’s success while developing your skills in a supportive and innovative environment. Your keen attention to detail and excellent time management skills will ensure that all upcoming renewals are managed effectively and completed on schedule.


While based in Brazil, this position primarily operates during North American business hours.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the renewal transactions and expansion opportunities, where relevant, for 400+ accounts across our North American region to ensure on-time renewals and prevent churn and contraction, as well as support account owners with managing their book of business. Renewals Specialists will generate leads from their books of business and will submit these to Account Managers.
  • Communicate with customers and dealers via email and phone to discuss the terms of the customer’s renewal, including negotiating pricing and other contract terms.
  • Proactively engage with the Account Management, Customer Success, & Revenue Operations teams to identify customer requirements and uncover any potential roadblocks to ensure timely renewals.
  • Document all customer and dealer communications in HubSpot and Gainsight and process all necessary documentation and paperwork to finalize renewals. This includes providing timely updates about any delays or issues that could result in churn or contractions to the account.
  • Ensure the successful and on-time execution of renewals processes and contract execution.
  • Work directly with customers and dealers to support the renewal deal cycle.
  • Partner with Customer Success Managers and/or Sales team to provide seamless customer support during renewal cycles.
  • Provision customer orders promptly to ensure timely fulfillment. Proficiency with Hubspot, Google Sheets, and related tools is a plus.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with various internal groups to navigate renewals efficiently.
  • Maintain an accurate 90-day rolling view of renewals assigned to you, including status, relevant updates, and revenue forecast.
  • Proactively identify and communicate risks and work closely with sales and CS to develop resolution strategies, escalating wherever appropriate.
About You

To enhance this process for our North American accounts we are seeking a skilled Renewals Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for engaging proactively and professionally with our customers and dealers, and helping to optimize Propeller’s systems and processes, including SaaS tools like HubSpot and Gainsight. As we continue to expand our customer base, your primary focus will be on maximizing on-time renewals to prevent churn, making your contribution crucial to our Propeller’s success and financial health.

Your Skills

  • 1+ years in a customer-facing role (ideally in order management, renewals management, account management, or software sales) with a proven ability to engage with customers and/or partners via clear, timely, and professional email communications and phone conversations as part of discussing pricing and contract terms.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational abilities. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and order management processes for software. Experience with selling hardware is a plus.
  • Ability to proactively identify problems and own solutions to improve sales and renewal processes. Proven experience generating leads from existing accounts, as well as partnering with cross-functional teams on expansion opportunities, is ideal.
Bonus points for personal experience with, or working knowledge of
  • HubSpot or Gainsight.
  • Experience working as part of a channel partner sales model.
  • The drone mapping industry.
