About the Role
We are hiring a Head of Recruiting to help us scale Prophet Security. You will be responsible for building and executing the talent acquisition strategy across both technical and go-to-market (GTM) teams. This is a foundational role where you’ll partner closely with our leadership team to define hiring processes, build exceptional candidate experiences, and grow the company through key early-stage hires.

What You’ll Do

  • Own and drive full-cycle recruiting across technical and GTM roles.

  • Build scalable, repeatable hiring processes tailored for an early-stage startup.

  • Partner closely with founders and team leads to shape organizational design and role definition.

  • Develop top-of-funnel strategies including sourcing, referral programs, and employer branding.

  • Drive recruiting metrics, data, and reporting to guide decision-making and identify areas for improvement.

  • Foster a consistent and excellent candidate experience from outreach to offer.

  • Evaluate and implement recruiting tools, systems, and workflows as we grow.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in recruiting, with deep expertise in both technical (engineering, ML/AI, product) and GTM (sales, marketing, customer success) hiring.

  • Experience leading recruiting efforts in high-growth startups, ideally from seed through Series A/B and beyond.

  • Demonstrated success designing and executing talent strategies in fast-paced, evolving environments.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

  • Track record of building and scaling inclusive, high-performing teams.

  • Experience setting up and optimizing Ashby.

Compensation

Employee compensation will be determined based on interview performance, level of experience, specialization of skills, and market rate. During the offer discussion, your recruiter will review the finalized base salary, bonus (for applicable roles), benefits & perks, and stock options as they’ll be reflected in the offer letter.

Employees hired in the U.S. and Canada can expect the below information to reflect a reasonable estimate of the salary offered for this role. Salary ranges are updated regularly using premium market data. *It is unusual for new hires to receive a starting base salary at the top of the range, however there may be some flexibility above this range if candidates have rare and especially relevant industry experience. The value of Prophet's stock options is not included in the salary bands and may represent a significant portion of your compensation.
