As a Founder in Residence at Qogita, you will join the New Ventures team, the team charged with finding our next moonshot. The team operates at the frontier of what Qogita could become, continuously exploring opportunities across new geographies, product categories, and software verticals.

Your mission is to take high-conviction bets from zero to one, owning the full arc from market identification through to first commercial traction, within a 6–12 month window.
  • Market mapping: Own rigorous market assessments combining structured desk research and direct customer discovery to identify where real, addressable demand exists
  • Zero-to-one execution: Build and ship an MVP end-to-end and independently, from sourcing through to first sale - without a playbook to follow
  • Business unit ownership: Drive the new venture through its early operational lifecycle, acting as founder, operator, and commercial lead until the unit generates sufficient value to be officially productised
  • Customer insight: Lead ongoing user discovery to pressure-test assumptions, surface unmet needs, and sharpen the product and commercial direction
  • Commercial traction: Own the path to first revenue - define the sales motion, work the deals, and close them
  • Founded a company or built a function at an earliest-stage startup (sub-20 people)
  • A concrete track record of building something from nothing - not just contributing to it
  • Commercially driven with a proven ability to sell: you can open doors, run a process, and close
  • Default to talking to customers rather than theorising about them - customer discovery is your instinct, not your last resort
  • Background in STEM, Finance, Economics, or Law & Politics
  • Structured enough to sustain operations independently - you don't need process handed to you
  • Relentlessly resourceful: you find a way when there is no obvious one
