About the Role

RadixArk builds the open-source AI infrastructure behind SGLang and Miles, used by developers and enterprises around the world. We're looking for a designer to give our brand a distinct visual voice, led by illustration, and who treats modern AI tools as part of their craft rather than a novelty. Taste and ideas matter to us more than years on a resume, which is why we read portfolios first and care most about the work itself. You'll shape how RadixArk shows up everywhere from our site and decks to the conferences and community events we run. We care about craft and about building things that scale, so the best work here won't just set the quality bar, it'll become systems the whole team can build on. As our platform grows, there's a real path into product, so we want someone with the curiosity and range to grow into a product designer or design engineer over time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create original illustrations that define and extend the RadixArk and SGLang visual identity
  • Build and steward a consistent brand system across every touchpoint
  • Use AI image tools (GPT Image 2, Nano Banana, and whatever comes next) to go from idea to polished asset quickly
  • Use Claude Code as a design tool, for example to prototype landing pages and interactive web experiences in code, generate SVG illustrations and icon sets, and build or maintain design-system components and tokens
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners across product, GTM, BD, engineering, and community to turn their goals into clear, compelling visuals and materials, both internal and external-facing, including conference and event collateral like slides, signage, booths, swag, and more
  • Produce a steady stream of visual content for blogs and social
  • Partner with the team on product and platform polish, with room to grow into a product design role

Qualifications

  • A strong portfolio is the single most important thing we look at. Show us your best work and the example projects you're proudest of, and tell us what you owned and why you made the choices you did
  • Every application must include a link to your website or portfolio. Applications without one will not be reviewed.
  • Real fluency in illustration and brand or visual design, backed by example projects
  • Comfort folding AI tools into your everyday workflow, including image generation and Claude Code
  • Bonus: you've built reusable Claude Code skills for branding or design systems, or are excited to, so brand-consistent output scales across the team
  • Bonus: interest or experience in product design or design engineering
  • Bonus: you set taste rather than follow trends, and have high agency in a fast-moving, technical, open-source environment

To Apply

Send us your resume and portfolio or personal website (required) along with a short note on a project you're proud of.
