The successful candidate will be solutions-focused, capable of creating a need, and adept at helping prospects identify relevant use cases for our cutting-edge AI solutions. This role requires the candidate to have an extensive pre-existing network of decision-makers across at least 2 industries from Financial Services, Banking, Insurance, Manufacturing, Energy, and Retail.
Role and Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy Development: Create and execute comprehensive sales plans to achieve quotas for new logo acquisition and overall bookings.
Customer Engagement: Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting and qualification to closing deals and ensuring customer success.
Relationship Building: Cultivate relationships with C-suite executives and key stakeholders within target industries to drive sales growth.
Needs Assessment: Identify customer pain points and articulate how RapidCanvas solutions can effectively address these challenges. Solution focussed mindest and prior experience of consultative sales or consulting services is a must
Collaboration: Work closely with marketing and product teams to align strategies and enhance customer offerings based on feedback.
Key Skills Required:
- Experience: Minimum of 7 years in a quota-carrying sales role within SaaS or technology sectors.
- Industry Network: Established connections with decision-makers in at least two of the following sectors: Financial Services, Banking, Insurance, Manufacturing, Energy, Retail.
- Sales Skills: Proven track record of exceeding sales targets in a fast-paced environment; experience selling analytics or machine learning platforms is a plus.
- Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional ability to build relationships and negotiate effectively with senior stakeholders.
- E2E sales process: Ability to operate in an early stage high growth company and owning the process from sourcing own leads to closures.
- Familiarity with AI and machine learning technologies.
- Experience in early-stage startups or environments requiring building sales from the ground up.
- Strong pipeline management skills with the ability to prospect effectively.
