Role Purpose
Develop and execute compliant, customer-centric marketing strategies for the Nigerian market that support business growth while strictly adhering to the group’s Marketing Guidelines and all applicable Nigerian advertising and financial promotion rules.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement marketing campaigns, digital initiatives, partnerships, and user acquisition activities tailored to the Nigerian VASP market.
- Ensure all public-facing materials (websites, social media, press releases, app content, advertisements) are customer-centric, clear, factual, and contain appropriate disclosures of risks, limitations, and terms — in full compliance with the group Marketing Guidelines.
- Pre-clear all marketing content with Compliance to prevent misleading statements, omissions, or regulatory breaches.
- Monitor marketing performance, brand perception, and competitor activity while maintaining the highest ethical standards.
- Coordinate with group functions on global campaigns and local adaptations.
- Maintain records of marketing approvals and materials for audit/regulatory purposes.
Qualifications and Experience
- A first degree or equivalent in marketing, business, communications, or a related field.
- Minimum 4–6 years’ relevant experience in marketing within fintech, financial services, or virtual assets (experience in regulated environments is strongly preferred).
- Proven ability to create compliant marketing content and work effectively with compliance teams.
- Understanding of Nigerian consumer protection and financial promotion expectations is advantageous.
- Full-time engagement required.
- Nigerian citizen preferred (NIN-eligible); fit-and-proper with no adverse findings.
