Retention Marketing Specialist, e-commerce
We are seeking a highly strategic, results-driven Retention Marketing Specialist to join our growing team. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive on problem-solving, creative strategy, and data-driven decision-making. As a Retention Marketing Specialist, you will own the development and execution of email strategies that drive growth, engagement, and customer retention for a diverse portfolio of clients. You will collaborate closely with customer success and cross-functional teams to build comprehensive lifecycle strategies tailored to each client’s brand, audience, and goals.
Key Responsibilities:
You will be a part of the Delivery team as a critical contributor, helping to address/improve a wide variety of challenges and processes that make the engine of this organization hum.
Areas of responsibility include:
- Create and implement customized email marketing strategies for your clients
- Coordinate within our internal team to keep projects moving forward and execute your strategies
- Develop an in-depth understanding of Klaviyo and other ESPs and their functionalities
- Analyze data to optimize strategies and improve email marketing performance
- Boost clients’ subscriber engagement and revenue numbers
Here’s a typical week for a Retention Marketing Specialist:
- 40% Email Strategy & Implementations
- 40% Project Management
- 10% Client Meetings
- 10% Reports and Admin

Compensation:
- Starting compensation for this position is ₹9LPA to ₹12LPA or commensurate with experience, and expected value to the company.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 1+ year experience in e-commerce, marketing, email marketing, agency, and/or 1+ year experience in Klaviyo is preferred. Freshers with a passion for e-commerce marketing are highly encouraged to apply.
- Fluent in English with excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a knack for strategic thinking are essential.
- You’ll be expected to juggle your work schedule along with the schedules of clients operating across many different time zones.
- Exceptional listener and trust-builder; able to build and maintain strong and deep relationships with external and internal stakeholders.
- Obsessed about helping enterprise clients generate meaningful business value from technology products and services.
- Analytical skills to interpret performance metrics, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and derive actionable insights.
