• Responsible for defining a future focused strategy for a country or cluster of countries
• Creates an inspiring vision and innovative business strategy to accelerate market growth and profitable market share
• Establishes partnerships with customers, regulators, government and stakeholders and is seen as a Thought Leader and Industry Expert in the market

Responsibilities
• Be the responsible “face of MasterCard” to the prospect/customer through high level interactions with key stakeholders such as senior bank executives, country regulatory contacts, representatives of marketing and card vendors as well as third party processing companies.
• Participate in high-level, interactive conversations with key decision makers around new or emerging product opportunities
• Analyze customers’ existing business through profitability modeling, financial forecasting and competitive analysis and recommend opportunities for additional revenue.
• Work with virtual team of MC subject matter experts to strategically articulate value propositions to close new business opportunities
• Develop financial modeling and business cases for identified opportunities
• Builds and maintains strong relationships with diverse range of stakeholders at the C-Suite level (e.g., customers, governments, regulators) to identify new and innovative revenue and growth opportunities
• Builds and maintains trusted relationships with government and regulatory stakeholders
• Monitors regulatory framework that may influence country operations and ensures compliance is maintained
• Establishes a reputation as an industry expert on payments technology ecosystem and is an ambassador for Mastercard
• Owns the P&L and country goals, driving revenue growth, market share and diversification of Mastercard’s products and solutions
• Leverages Mastercard products and services to create new partnerships and business development opportunities and oversee delivery of customer solutions
• Builds relationships with government and regulatory stakeholders
• Monitors regulatory framework that may influence country operations and ensures compliance is maintained
• Supports relationships with the customer across various operational functions
• Builds relationships internally and externally with a range of stakeholders (e.g., customers, governments, non-financial institutions, etc.)
• Accountable for resolving customers operations issues
• Sales and business development leader for a single market, responsible for building the business and customer relationships
• Sets short to mid-term sales and market growth strategies, and executes sales and business development plans

All About You:
• Experience in a market management role with accountability for sales, product, marketing, finance delivery and/or operations
• Demonstrated success in market and/or managing P&L for a market.
• Experience in customer facing roles and interacting with key decision makers
• Experience in leading/leveraging cross-functional and/or project teams to deliver strong results.
• Experience building relationships with customers and other stakeholders (i.e., governments, regulators, etc.)
• Excellent analytical skills (e.g., cards P&L analysis, financial forecasting, competitive analysis)
• Strong presentation skills, written and oral (French, English and Arabic)
• Proven ability to develop business relationships at all levels
• Results-oriented and customer-focused
• Strong Sales / Business Development / Relationship Management background.
• Excellent problem solving and business acumen
• Selling Skills with ability to initiate, pursue and close a sale, as well as strong influencing and negotiation skills
• Master’s degree/MBA preferred
• Team-player with strong collaborations skills.
• in-depth knowledge of Mastercard's core products, rules, and services
• Tunisia and North Africa Markets knowledge
